Junior Murvin

Junior Murvin — aka Murvin Junior Smith (1949 — Dec. 2, 2013) — was a Jamaican dub/roots-reggae artist who issued a round of singles on Wild Flower in 1976, including the popular “Police and Thief,” repurposed for the 1977 Island release Police & Thieves. Three further albums followed on Dread at the Controls and Greensleeves between 1982 and 1986.
