Janusz Muniak

Janusz Muniak (Jan. 3 1941 — Jan. 31, 2016) was a Polish saxophonist, composer, and arranger who was active on the European jazz scene for half a century, first recording with the Andrzej Trzaskowski Quintet in 1965. In 1978, he debuted as a bandleader with the Polskie Nagrania Muza release Question Mark, recorded with his namesake post-bop quintet.
