It’s a Beautiful Day was an American psychedelic folk band from San Francisco that released four albums between 1969 and 1973 on CBS/Columbia.

Members: David LaFlamme (vocals, violin, flute, 1967-73), Linda LaFlamme (keyboards, 1967-69), Pattie Santos (vocals, percussion), Val Fuentes (drums, vocals), Mitchell Holman (bass, harmonica, vocals, 1967-71), Hal Wagenet (guitar, vocals, 1968-71), Fred Webb (keyboards, vocals, 1969-74), Billy Gregory (guitar, vocals, 1971-74), Tom Fowler (bass, vocals, 1971-72), Bud Cockrell (bass, vocals, 1972-74), Greg Bloch (violin, mandolin, 1973-74)


Background

It’s a Beautiful Day was formed in 1967 by the husband/wife team of violinist/singer David LaFlamme and keyboardist Linda LaFlamme.
