Gustavo Montesano

Gustavo Montesano (born Oct. 14, 1955) is an Argentinian guitarist and composer who has been musically active locally and abroad since the mid-1970s. He first emerged as one-fourth of the symphonic/hard-rock band Crucis, with whom he recorded two albums in 1976. The following year, he issued his first and only solo album of the 20th century, Homenaje. The early ’80s found him in the New Wave one-offs Merlin and Montesano, after which he joined Spanish synthpop band Olé Olé, which recorded seven albums between 1983 and 1992.
