5uu’s

The 5uu’s were an American avant-rock band from Los Angeles that released a standalone single and the album Bel Marduk & Tiamat on Rotary Totem-subsidiary U:r Records in 1986, followed by three albums on RēR during the subsequent 11-year period. For its 1988 release Elements, the band was joined by the Motor Totemist Guild. The two parties subsequently merged in the chamber-rock supergroup U Totem, which issued two CDs between 1990 and 1994 on Cuneiform, the 5uu’s home for two further discs during the early 2000s.
