Bettye Crutcher – Long as You Love Me (1974)

Long as You Love Me is the singular solo album by Memphis soul vocalist Bettye Crutcher, released in 1974 on Stax/Enterprise. She co-produced the album with ex-Falcons vocalist Mack Rice, who co-wrote seven of the 10 songs. The album features musical backing by the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra with arrangements by Johnny Allen. The track “Sugar Daddy” was issued as a single, backed with “As Long as You Love Me.”
